In May, 2024 my two-page comic, فلسطين حرة

(free Palestine) was published in the Detroit

Metro Time’s Fiction Issue. The theme for the issue

was “resistance across borders.”

I was inspired by the graffiti artists in my area

who persistently throw up “FREE PALESTINE.”

And when the piece gets painted over, they

come back to the wall and do it all over again.

It was a privilege to be invited to have my

work printed in this issue.
